Bronco F. Wewer

Bronco Wewer’s work is a collision of ancient energies and high-tech, a nexus of the very, very old and the very new.

His neo-analog practice draws connections across time periods and between micro and macro perspectives. Through studies spanning fire and algorithms, minerals and cryptography, digital and analog drawings, moss, ceramics, and 3D scans, his work combines primordial and new technologies to foster attentiveness to nature and tell parallel realities.

In a vortex of mythmaking and worldbuilding, he connects memory with fantasy to create neural bridges between reality and fiction - and invoke the mystical and philosphical dimensions of the natural and supernatural worlds.

Like a fever dream and reminiscent of Stanislaw Lem’s Futurological Congress, his art speaks a visual language part meditative and part radiantly expressive, with an anti-serious tone.

His works have been exhibited throughout Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, USA, Vietnam, and the virtual space.

Bronco lives and works in the ozone egg and in Düsseldorf. He is part of the artist collective BMX ALI.
