2022, digital paintings on screens with tin frames

Dual exhibition with Sabine Wewer at A.E. Brinckmann Galerie in Basel, Switzerland.

The show brought together Sabine Wewer’s analogue paintings and Bronco Wewer’s digital works, placing old and new media in direct confrontation. The title FIGHT CLUB refers to this encounter: a productive tension between analogue and digital, between established and emerging modes of painting, but also between two generations.

In a conversation across time, the works of mother and son explore the meeting point between these different approaches to painting and to storytelling.
